2UE finds Sydney's Favourite Teacher
2UE VIDEO: 2UE has been searching for your favourite teacher. You inundated us with entries, and the judges narrowed down to the 10. Now, the winner. From St Charles Primary, Ryde, Congratulations Maree Simpson.
Thank you to everybody who entered! Teachers Credit Union were so touched by the incredible stories and entries to the competition, they decided to give an extra award of $10,000 to the runner up of Sydney's Favourite Teacher.

Congratulations to my beautiful friend and colleague, Maree. An honour so richly deserved. It is fantastic that such a great teacher is recognised for the amazing contribution she has made to our community. This award also highlights the fantastic job that teachers everywhere do, recognising and valuing their hard work.
