  • Julie don't speak too soon. They not only will soon be home, with you, but they will make sure you don't have one.

  • My house was robbed last week. Not by asylum seekers. Why are you people constantly talking about boats when there are so many other problems people in this country face. We took 13,750 refugees last year and we will take the same this year. We are not taking more people just becasue they are making their own way here and paying their own fare.

  • God help all you people if you ever need help outside our country. And I only hope you don't live next door to me because if I was in trouble I doubt that you would help me. If you care so much about the homeless then I hope you are out there doing something for them. If they are not getting enough help it's because all you people do is talk about a few people on boats. If you stop the boats, I am sorry to tell you, it won't solve all your life problems. Stop scapegoating vulnerable people.

  • Well about time the Aussies stood up and all the homeless demanded to be housed first and let the Asylum seekers sleep in the street.

  • And who will feed, clothe, educate, house and medical check them? We all know that one, the mug taxpayers, while Australians struggle to pay their own way, e.g. mortgages, electricity, water school fees etc. The very scary part of this is the diseases brought in such as T B, Cholera and god knows what else. This used to be called the lucky country, now we are known as the dopey country. And gullible.

  • Like most people in this country I go to work and pay my taxes.I don't mind those taxes being used to help Australia and Australians but I resent every single cent that goes to any illegal so called refugee. I also resent this weak weak Government.
