Christianity again under attack from latest artwork

Yet again Christians are under attack for their faith, finding it hard to turn the other cheek after seeing Luke Roberts's entry in a religious art exhibition. Tim Webster seeks out the artist as anger builds over the work.

  • What an amazing man. The world would be a better place with more like him. I don't find the artwork at all offensive. Jesus loves everyone unconditionally, but the 2 callers afterwards don't. They should be ashamed of themselves. We are all sacred creations. You cannot claim to be a loving Christian whilst expressing such hate.

  • How ignorant for someone to think that Christ is on the same level as people like Mohammad.

  • What a beautiful peice of art depicting love and understanding. I can't believe the vindictiveness of the following two callers. And I think Tim needs to learn some humility and tolerance for his fellow humans that don't wear his colours.
    Love to all.

  • I think it is beautiful. Seems more christ-like than renaissance paintings.
Anyway,.. has any christians who call for censorship or against erosion of morals actually READ the bible? There are numerous references to murder, rape, incest (Sarah and Abraham,Lot and his daughters: Genesis 19:30รข??38), drugs etc. I could go on... Not that they are merely mentioned but condoned by god! So if anything the bible should be banned or severely edited!

  • Um, what if Jesus had been a transvestite? Or what if it turns out he was attracted to other men? Same teachings. Same miracles. Same death for our sins. Same rising and ascention into heaven. Would you suddenly declare yourself not to be Christian, and turn away from your church and beliefs? If so, then who is the hypocrite in this scenario?
