Click Frenzy turns Click Fail
Technology experts say retailers didn't have enough resources to cope with the surge of online shoppers for Click Frenzy. The 24 hour event promised major discounts, but the site crashed within moments of going live.

A retailer associated with the 'Click Frenzy' website says it noticed a surge in sales - despite the online event crashing, within minutes of going live.
Labelled the 'sale that stopped the internet' - thousands of shoppers couldn't get onto the site because of its popularity.
But Tony Nash from Booktopia says they benfitted from the exposure.
