Do we really need a second airport for Sydney?

A new report is expected to argue that a second airport must be urgently developed in Sydney's greater west to meet rising demand. David Oldfield reveals it is believed the preferred location is again, Badgerys Creek.

  • Run the airport 24/7 like Bangkok, Sydney is supposed to be an international city.

Better still a curfew for trains between 11pm and 6am.

Bunch of bloody wingers in Sydney!

  • I have a better idea. Build a second runway at the Canberra airport and then call it the Canberra-Monaro International Airport. Then build a fast train system from Sydney to the new airport and then onto Melbourne. The new airport will take on all the 747s and A380s and Sydney airport will handle the rest. Theres no need for the Badgerys Creek airport.
