Sydney celebrates the arrival of Prince William to our city

Have we trivialised the visit of Prince William? Tim Webster says we should have a spirited, serious and sensible adult conversation on becoming a republic when our royal visitor is no longer here.

  • Could I draw your attention to Caroline Overington's article in today's Weekend
Australian & I quote: William came on his
own time (the prince is in training to become
a helicopter rescue pilot, & he is on vacation
no) and the Queen picked up the tab, SO
AUSTRALIA DID NOT HAVE TO PAY. end of
    quote.
Unlike the visit of the Pope which was paid
for by all Australians regardless of religious or non religious affiliations, and
cost them hundred & thousand of dollar
unlike you mean, miserable & grumpy
self we did not complain & NEITHER DID
    YOU. WHAT A BLOODY BIGOT.
Not happy Tim, of course you are entitled
to your opinion, but please you dont have
    to lie.
