Government looking at means testing the childcare rebate

A million children are in childcare every day, a huge change from a generation ago. There’s now a rise in the need for flexible day care hours as more people are doing shift work.

The number of children in family day care and in-home care has risen 7% to just over 115,000.

Sasha Tohmay from Family Day Care Australia has told Jason Morrison they're able to provide more flexible arrangements for parents.
