Former PM Howard to be President
Former Prime Minister John Howard says he's humbled to have been nominated for the job of President of the International Cricket Committee. But, not everyone is happy with the choice, as Gibbsy & Brandy reveal.

What has this got to do with Mr. Howard's former position? He has left his previous occupation and is entitled to work anywhere in the world if he wants to just like anyone else in the same position.
The ICC has searched the world for as long as anyone can remember to find its presidents. They have chosen him. He did not select himself.
If anyone does not like it then contact them and complain. Don't forget to base your criticism on his ability to do the job because that is why he was chosen. Your personal opinion about his political beliefs are not relevant and they will not be interested in them.

I'm not surprised some people would hate the idea of former P M John Howard being elevated to the position in the ICC. They are the same people who call him Johnny, usually as a put down. Are you listening "Brandy"? You did the same in your blog. That shows a lack of respect and the only one you eventually put down is yourself. And as for the criticism about Mr Howard having no experience for the job, you forgot to mention the complete lack of experience in ANYTHING that this current P M has. At least Mr Howards interest in and love of the sport of cricket AND Rugby League was not just for photo shoots and publicity. I rest my case.
