Bring back the law "Keep Left unless overtaking" why do people insist on doing 10-20k`s under when in the right hand lane ?
Before it was only Taxi`s that didn`t use their Indicaters, now it`s nearly everyone. Do the Camera`s catch these offenders ? No.John A Monday 20 February, 2012 - 4:59 PM -
As an all seeing truck driver I have had a gutfull of the bludging Police Force doing very little to curb attrocious behaviour on the roads!
Last week here is a list of woefull behaviour that I have seen just in my little space:-
1. Eating from Tupperware container with spoon while balancing it on steering wheel.
2. Red and Green P platers talking on Mobile phone while driving.
3. Red and Green P platers texting while driving.
4. Driving on or to the left of the white fog line.
5. Driving on or to the right of double centre lines.
6. Driving with arm out of window.
7. Not have proper control of vehicle(arm out of window)
8. U turn over double centre lines.
9. U turn over double centre lines in a school zone.
10. Talking on mobile phone in school zone.
11. Stopping in NO STOPPING zone (SCHOOL).
Time has beaten me to write more! All drivers should have to do a driving course to Military Standard like I did then the roads would be a better place.
I can remember as a little boy in the car with my Father almost every time we went driving he would say "don't turn around there is a Policeman behind us he will think we are doing something wrong if you look at him", that scenario is very rarely repeated today.Remember the three 2's
Too close,
Too fast and
too bloody stupid to obey the road rules! My last traffic ticket was in december 1989 when I decided to stop giving money to the State Government for stupidity!
