GFC: our biggest challenge faced

Posted by: 2UE | 3 November, 2011 - 5:45 AM
Are the Greens attempting to close down Australian coal mining?

Global financial crisis is being labeled as "the biggest challenge Australia has faced in the last 3 years", ahead of immigration and climate change. The Two Murrays on the Reserve rate cut, and future strength of our economy.

  • Europe has no chance of dealing with its debt levels. If they knew what to do they wouldn't have gotten into this strife in the first palce. They are too blind to understand that financial union without poltical union has no chance. Another GFC here we come by Easter at the very latest, perhaps much sooner.

  • ADRIANNA, labor Losers do nothing but Spin, Lie and love the waste that this Hideous Labor/Green/Ind Government plan to heap on Australia. These idiots believe Ju-Liar is some sort of saviour but in reality she is a Pariah. Blokes like Terrence follow the Labor mob like sheep, can not even think for themselves let alone come up with one good thing these Labor Goons have done while in Government. The next thing Terrence will post will be more useless Labor Spin/Lies or his puny brain will think of some abuse to hurl at us or anything good for Australia.

  • THE "REAL" PHONY & "WRECKER" THIS "MINDLESS" JULIA GILLARD:
"THERE WILL BE NO CARBON TAX UNDER THE GOVERNMENT I LEAD"
Terrence; what are you talking about son? Tony Abbott's policies are very well known to even the most thickest, except for you! i.e. (1) Stop the illegal-boats, again (2) Scrap the fraudulent, slime-green, Labor carbon tax scam (3) Axe the mining tax (4) Axe the pokie crap (5) Repair all the damage Labor has done to the Australian economy etc, etc, etc, etc. since 2007!! (6) Less tax on families. (7) Keep Aussie jobs etc,etc
N.B. Bob Brown is obviously a powerful pseudo PM. Leave it alone son!
    Understand rubber band. ELECTION PLEASE??

  • How convenient? When Beazley, Crean, and Latham were not PMs, your right-wing media were still asking them a lot of questions and of Bob Brown too as if they were the PM; but you Lib goons did not say it then. Now you want to hide the Phony by saying he can see what he likes, he may not have any policy, but we can't put him under scrutiny because he is not the PM. How convenient!

  • Terrence, Labor did not have any money in the bank after they spent all of it given to them by Li/Nat Government. Are you a person who can tell what could happen even if there is no chance it could, there is no huge disaster being caused by Tony Abbott he is not the PM, Ju-Liar is causing one you sheep.

  • This government should be commended for taking the measures that made us an enviable country through the GFC. Thank God Abbott was not running the country otherwise we would have seen a huge disaster!

By the same token, this government should be condemned for engaging in a race to the bottom with Phony Abbott by trying to introduce offshore processing which the High Court thankfully killed.
