John Stanley: Julia Gillard simply counting down the days?

There have been comparisons made between the failed NSW Labor Party and that of the Gillard government. Is it a matter of counting down the days? John Stanley compares the two, and why Kevin Rudd may be in for a recall.

  • If Julia steps down and get replace with Kevin Rudd, And if Kevin Kills the Carbon tax, I would vote for Kevin in the next election. But If Julia stays till the next election then Tony will get my vote.
I would like to see a real democratic party in Australia like in Canada the NDP, The Australian democratic party is really out of touch for the everyday joe and the of there new website top links don't even work!.
As the NBN goes I think its very expensive for what were getting, But If the Labor party would actually look into what that sort of network could handle, It would be a easy sell to the public, In the USA they use carbon fiber not only for telephone and Internet, butt they use it to supply cable tv to the homes as well, Now If Julia got off her royal butt and made a new cable company NOT owned by optus or telstra/foxtel but some actual competition like Canada has then my Foxtel bill would drop from $80+ to $20 for the small amount of channels they provide, I'm sick and tired of Foxtel raising my bill every year by a min $5 per month where I haven't had a raise in 10yrs, actually 10yrs ago I was making more per hr than my current job.

  • now hold on a second! the nsw labor party was the worst on record, this govt no matter their faults has a while to go. there are also reservations about tony abbott and his policies so they wont be just a shoe in.

kevin rudd wont ever be back as labor leader because if you read paul howes book who of course is one of the famous faceless men, the factional bosses hate him. they would install someone else.

  • The failed Gillard/Brown/turncoat 'government' surpasses by a country mile the failed former NSW labor party government. In NSW at least they had some brain power but did nothing except sit on their hands. Gillard's model differs by its breathtaking incompetence, jaw-dropping waste, plain stupidity and lies in the 3 cardinal areas of Finance, Administration and 'Policyeee'. And Gillard claims to be the best person for the job of Exec Assistant to PM Bob Brown. Just go way Madame!
