  • Hi,
My ban the Commonwealth has been charging a disloyalty fee for years, I think it is a real rout. There should be some sort of banking ACCC to stop this. The banks are rich enough as it is, just look at those directors in overseas banks that receive big payouts to leave. It's like they are rewarded for doing a bad job!

  • Hi Tim,

    thanks for the interview.

I must correct myself on one matter. The banks take no cut of the direct charge that you see on the ATM screen. The banks have the option of charging a 'hidden' fee at their end which is commonly known as a disloyalty fee. Many banks and other institutions are opting not to charge a disloyalty fee for processing the transaction at their end. Customers can see these fees at our website and should confirm with their bank.
