A new report shows Australian's are skipping their mortgage repayments to buy the latest gadgets.
According to Home Loan Finder - one in ten people admit to skipping repayments - with 50-percent of them saying they spent the money on a television or to pay for a holiday.
With the festive season upon us, mortgage holders are being warned against skipping a repayment as they can face hefty fines - or get a black mark against their name.
Alcohol: an ingrained problem?
