Julia Gillard's presidential poll bounce?

Posted by: 2UE | 26 November, 2011 - 8:11 AM
PM Julia Gillard's poll bounce thanks to President Obama?

Tony Abbott now trails Julia Gillard as preferred Prime Minister. The Opposition claims her improvement is the result of the visit of President Obama. Tim Webster asks, how does that work? Has anything changed?

  • "Another Ignored" is another Lib showing his colours, and as the name suggests is better left ignored.
If you strip out the abuses against Gillard and the pretentious accolades for Abbott there is hardly anything of substance there.
I have made the prediction here. Let's see wait and see what happens in a few months.

  • Tony Abbott is going to remain leader of the Coalition and will become OUR PM and the people await eagerly.
No amount of arrogant, negative abuse by this Labor Spin Department will sway the electorate through the unrelenting anti Abbott campaign, through the media and blogs.
Tony Abbott is admired, highly regarded and has more integrity than the whole Labor party combined, unlike the current untrustworthy, dictatorial, self serving delusional arrogant Juliar.
Gillard is a disgrace and will say and do anything to stay in power and has brought shame on this office.
Worst PM, with worst govt in Australias history, that need to be thrown out sooner than later.
Now, doing a deal with Slipper it will continue the damage to be inflicted over the next two years with those in power, particularly when the speaker of the house upholds standards for MPs to follow and all with a history of arrogant unaccountability.
Australia applauds Abbott for saying NO to ALL Labors bad policies, waste and mismanagement and NO to Labor lies and the people say NO Juliar NO Labor.

  • I have been predicting this for a while now, if you look at my previous posts.

There was one blog suggesting that Julia Gillard would be challenged by Kevin Rudd towards the end of the month. I thought it was a ridiculous suggestion then, and many others would have thought the same, evident from the disinterest in that particular blog.

I predict that the Liberal Party will start looking seriously for an alternative to Tony Abbott in March- April next year.

  • Seems to me that the outcome of this poll was simply a survey of the dummies called 'GetUp' - which is nothing but the laborparty/greens party's stooges! Real people know that both Gillard and Obama are absolutely hated in their respective countries! End of argument, please! So,so, dam sad that two a prosperous countries have a these a pair of knuckleheads at the helm - but a temporarily of course!

  • Ju-Liar is a Pariah and will be forever she does not give two hoots about Australia, all the things to come from this Lame Government is sending us down the wrong path! She is Toxic will always be Toxic and anyone who thinks she is great really needs to take a look at themselves, all Lies, Deceit and Cons is all this PM stands for!

  • I doubt very much that Obama who is just as hopeless as Madame Jul-liar Gillard and is in fact now hated by the majority of Americans, has had anything to do with pushing up this liar's popularity. She is a rank incompetent, a proven liar and every damned thing she sticks her big beak into ends up stuffed. The real poll will be the next national election at which I trust, hope and pray she will be booted out with a vengeance. The rotten sod!
