  • After 12 years of schooling, how is it these days, that there is so many dumb school leavers with very poor numeracy and literacy skills???? Certainly no endorsement for today's new-age, green teachers. Who must be asleep, day-dreaming in class all day. But the worried "ethical" schoolies know everything about nothing. Including the non-sensical, alarmists' man-made global warming cult's scare campaign, gender neutrality and gay marriage etc, etc. Todays irresponsible slime green Labor teachers have a lot to answer for dumbing-down, brainwashing the now frightened children, completely trusted in their care! There is no man-made, global warming and its about time, that these devious teachers started teaching exactly that to our children!! And apologise!
N.B. In the last 10 days, in Eastern Europe there have been over 600 people who have literally frozen to death! Man-made Global Cooling!

  • My daughter when she was in grade 5 wanted a calculator for school, I said noway your math skills aren't strong enough, So I made her do it the long way on paper, now she is on the top of the class because she knows how to do it on paper and in her head. Now she's in grade 8 I finally gave in to the calculator. My other daughter is terrible in math and when she was in grade 3 her math skills were at level one, so I asked her why don't you know how to do this basic math, she replied "My teacher only explains it once and if ask for help the second time she says its not worth her time."
So I had a long talk to the teacher and started doing regular extra homework with her, not she is back to the level where she should be and is doing just fine.
If the teachers are crap and they are just passing students to keep the numbers up, Then its time to do surprise test on the students.

  • perhaps because school principals don`t have any power to hire or fire, our public school teachers aren`t making enough effort showing the practicality and fun in maths, Principals need to have their teachers accountable. But then again, is anyone accountable in the public service ?
