  • This is what happens when politicians fool us into accepting globalisation combined with the effect of the Lima Declaration signed by most countries in the western world. Of course nobody told us about the intention to 'redistribute wealth' from 1st world countries to 3rd world countries that eventually turns a thriving manufacturing based economy into a weak service economy.

  • We may have the skills, but anyone with enough money to own a manufacturing plant knows they`re better off finanially if they just import the stuff. Even the Phillipines has no-tax manufacturing areas where companies can set up and manufacture, which gives more work for locals, so how can we compete without tariffs ?
