For got to tell you, a good friend of mine nearly died in a head-on when the other driver with no seatbelt on dropped a cigarette (suicide stick) and bent down to retreive it, she was ejected in the collison and died at the scene, my friend has brain damage and will never work again.
The Control Freaks should ban sucking on suicide sticks while driving!Protect children keep them off the road! Sunday 5 February, 2012 - 7:43 PM -
@ David T. You are correct except for one omission, true fog lights are yellow as per Hella foglights, yellow does not reflect from fog droplets!
General driving offences.
As at 1 July 2011
Rule 219
Use/allow use of light on/in vehicle likely/to dazzle.
Fine $88 2 demerit points.
To me the relevant word is "likely" the Collins dictionary states:-
2. probable: a likely result
which to me says that you must direct foglights at oncoming drivers in any circumstance!Coppers do your job! especially for the misaligned ones that shine directly into ones eyes!

The very bright lights referred to are not "Fog Lights". True fog lights have a sharp cut-off to stop dazzling oncoming drivers and to lower the angle of the beam to a point where it will not result in light reflected from the fog blinding the fitted car's driver. These latest bright lights are dangerous and should be banned. Unfortunately, I believe the legislation to do so mistakenly includes true fog lights because of confusion regarding what a "Fog Light" actually is.

Hey coppers it about time that you enforced the laws on "fog lights" and stop these Mr McGoo drivers dazzeling the oncoming drivers. Fog reflects white light, white fog lights don't work!

If the Offenders are of Aboriginal or some other ethnic background , will the Police then be " FLEXIBLE " and refrain from arresting these people by claiming
