Should we see childcare as an investment in our child's future?

NSW Government has been accused of walking away from children at risk by ordering a staff freeze and cutting temporary positions at the Department of Community Services.

Community Services Minister Pru Goward confirms with Stuart Bocking her department won't be renewing contracts with 39 temporary DoCS case workers when they expire this year. Paperwork is blamed for the department's inefficiency.
