John Stanley is critical of recent slogans reporting on changes flagged to the way criminals are sentenced from Attorney General Greg Smith. Why reducing law & order to simple slogans doesn't benefit the community.

So the police make a few arrests and they seem to think all is well in the crime stats department. The stark reality is these brazen criminals are like flourishing mushrooms, constantly growing in the dark. An unrelenting zero tolerance policy with a constant high profile, reliable, 'active' police presence is obviously needed in many areas of Sydney. Otherwise more of the same. Furthermore there should be hundreds of pro-active police patrolling on our streets, where are they??
