The idea that women make false allegations in Family Court has been soundly disproved both in the academic research in Au and overseas. "Men's Rights" groups cannot speak for most separated fathers in AU and cannot claim that the FC is biased against "fathers" because only 6% of all divorced couples end up in FC. Of those even less are cases involving children. Professor Brown found that the cases in FC where abuse issues were raised in FC, these are the cases where the abuse is "real, severe and serious." Men's Rights should not be publically funded because it's their efforts that has lead to a FC system and Family Law changes that does not protect abused children.

I am a mother of 2 little children. I tried to run from an abusive relationship to protect my children and I after years of abuse. I resided at a refuge. The father stalked us at all places and times - the police took an AVO out on him and he broke this twice yet his solicitor had the police drop the charges before it went to court. Within 1 year his solicitor, court family report writers, children's representative ALL men - falsified documents WHICH CAN BE PROVEN and my children were removed from my care 3 days prior christmas in 2005 and placed in the abusive father's care. I was given only one minute to say goodbye to my children and then they pulled me away from my children and escorted me out of the building and locked the door. AND I AM A GOOD LOVING CARING MUM - A GOOD PERSON. I have no birthdays, no holidays with my children since then and no school or any other association. I have less than the normal minimal contact with my children. This is the doing of Mends group assoc with Dids and bullying men working in the court to take children from good mothers who try to protect their children. For four years I have been trying to have my children returned. No money to do this. I have lost everything. I have lost my children. I will lose my life if this continues - if no one hears me and other mother's like me.
Why can we not all see and say that there IS ABUSIVE MEN AND MANY OF THEM !!!!
WHY DO WE TIPPY TOE ON THE SUBJECT - WHY DO WE NOT CONDEMN ABUSE - !!!!
WHY CAN WE NOT DISCLOSE THAT THESE ABUSERS WORK WITHIN THE COURT !!!!
