Premier Barry O'Farrell on why NSW is a winner in Budget 2011

Premier Barry O'Farrell says he wants to get more "bang for taxpayers bucks" as the State Government looks to move its ministerial offices.

The current office space in Governor Macquarie Tower boasts some of the best views of the city but is costing taxpayers 18 million dollars a year.

The Premier has told John Stanley they're looking at other cheaper options.

  • Barry O'Farrell is trying to save us a quid and here we are with Wayne Swan giving away a lazy, borrowed $5bil. to the IMF to bail out the incompetent bankrupt EU countries who rightly deserve to be bankrupt and will stay bankrupt. Swan reckons our $5bil. is not enough and that its only fair that we pay our share-what a complete DH is this man.

  • Eighteen million is far too much. I have a large spacious bedroom with an ensuite available at reasonable rates. Before you laugh, basing state government in a bedroom is the perfect place to do business, for the business they are doing to us........next please.
