  • America was not even a country when crusaders from europe took back the holy land.
The bible stated long before korans or any other book was written that the israelites were the chosen minority for jesuses birthplace.

My understanding now is gods plan was for this war to continue as a test of faith for all peoples.

Human tolerance and peace by all faiths is gods test of his teachings to all mankind.

China must be laughing as christians jews muslims draw towards ARMAGETEN.

  • You misunderstand that the Palestinians aren't wanting to get financial compensation...they're wanting ALL the land that's currently Israel....that's the real agenda.

This land, in the first instance:

    1. was partly purchased by Jews from mostly absent Landlords during Ottoman and British rule,

    2. was part of the British Mandate upon it's expiration, to be partitioned partly for a Jewish homeland as well as partly for Arab homeland,

    3. some land that was the spoils of war that Pan Arab bretheren instigated in 1948, to gain the part of the Land that was to be Israel. The local Arab population had their choices of staying or leaving but were convinced otherwise mainly by their own peoples. Those Arabs that chose to stay, in what became Israel still inhabit this land, at considerable higher standards of living, education and freedom than those who didn't.

When the West Bank was part of Jordan (which is approximately 70% Palestinian stock), they had the opportunity of making this a Palestinian State. Only when it was gained by Israel as the result of a War, where once again the Arabs wanted to drive the Jews out of the Land and into the Sea, was the so-called plight of the Palestinians brought to the world's attention and the question of a Palestinian State mooted.

The Palestinians could have had their own country since 1948, but they only wanted what is Israel.

Today, they can still have a State of Palestine, if only they would come to terms with a true Peace Treaty and the ultimate recognition of Israel to exist securely.

If this will eventuate, Palestine will exist because of Israel and not because of their Arab bretheren who in reality denied them statehood in 1948.

  • Frank's solution of compensation for Palestinians is a fair and just one. Nonetheless, Palestinians have rejected offers of a Palestinian land alongside Israel. It seems then it is something more and quite different that Palestinians want, other than compensation for land lost.

  • Spare us, "Frank".

The Palestinians have been given billions of dollars and have created nothing but Jihad and terrorism.

As for someone 'taking' their home, who are you kidding? The Jewish presence in the area dates back thousands of years. Even the Muslim Koran refers to Jews in the region (Judea) but the term "Palestinian" was unheard of prior to 1967 (coincidentally the same year the Klingons first appeared on Star Trek).

The problem, from Gaza to Greenacre, is Islamists who are incapable of living in peace with non-Muslims.

  • In response to Frank's "took your home"
The displacement of 750,000 Palestinian Arabs was also due two other factors: 1) People fled from the impending war.
    2) The regional Arab leadership told people to evacuate Jewish areas so that the Jews could be removed by the invading Arab armies.

  • If someone came took your home, woudl just walk away??

compensate the palestinians so the can have the create infrastructure and means to establish a palestinain state. but once again David Oldfield i ask if i came and took over your house would you leave peacfully and move on? if in 300 years from now if Asians dominate the world population and come and invade Australia and take over our homes should just pack and leave?

But if you wree to takle my house build me an equivalent house and compensate me for any losses incurred i would be willing to move peacfully NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!

i think if Israel helps Palestinians in way of compensation and building etc we can find a peacful resolution
