Michael Pachi with Greens Leader Bob Brown on the Carbon Tax

2UE's Canberra Bureau Chief Michael Pachi has gone head to head with Bob Brown over the Carbon Tax. The Greens Leader is critical of commercial media and claims a majority of people want a carbon tax, agree?

Listen to the interview between 2UE's Michael Pachi and Greens Leader Bob Brown going toe to toe over the Carbon Tax at a media press conference, as he claims the media are promoting a negative view of climate change.

The Greens are beginning to be exposed to more scrutiny and being found lacking. Bob Brown and Greens supporters appear not to like it, taking issue with Chris Uhlmann on the 7:30 Report recently. Stuart Bocking catches up with the ABC Political Editor who speaks of having a healthy and robust political exchange.

  • There is no clean energy in view. The volcanic emissions from Chile daily equals 1 year of all the power stations steel mils et al. The real issues are other nations are buying up our Farm for growing their food and now to mine coal in our diminishing fertile soil. Senator Heffernan tries to explain such but no Senators understand. Another harsh reality is that many nations have lost their soil and will become refugees. There is no clean energy hence why tax. Coal is de-facto volcaoes and become in time nitrates and sulphates for all living matter to breath sequester.Who is managing our assets soil water vegetation atmosphere on behalf of the historians of tomorrow Robert Vincin

  • 70% of people don't want the carbon tax. Government is pushing ahead regardless. This is not a good outcome for a functional Democracy is it..

  • A carbon dioxide tax is not necessary. The claims by Brown, Gillard, Flannery et all are abject nonsense and cannot be substantiated. Anything to serve as a smokescreen for justifying higher taxes for ultra extravagant spending, totally out of control Brown/Gillard/turncoat, lousy federal (feral) 'government' now deservedly on the rails to oblivion!
