Two P plate drivers a week have been killed on NSW roads in 2010!

Two P-Platers have lost their lives every week of 2010! It's always the same questions after every accident. Tim Webster says the shocking statistics show we should stop asking questions and change how licenses are issued.

  • Hi Tim,
In regard to the high number of teenagers killed on the road, I am not surprised.

It all starts with those confounded "amusement parlours" where they can race cars, crash them and can continue driving after every crash.

Have a machine like that at every motor registry and let them loose on it for half an hour before their driving test.

If they crash, come back next month.

The better way would be to ban them altogether as you can see many children who can just barely raise their head to see the display being very eager to try to race. I believe it starts at such a low age already.

But to many parents they are like soothers to just give them some peace of mind.

If those parents only knew what they are or were doing.
