Who really is running the country?
Jason Morrison has again asked for PM Gillard to come onto the programme to discuss the support of the independents. Will her backdown from the pokie agreement hurt her ability to run an effective government?
Stuart Bocking looks at the PM’s backflip and claims by Andrew Wilkie’s claims the broken promise a trashing of democracy. Who is really trashing democracy? What if Tony Abbott promised to support the pokie reforms, where would the PM’s excuses sit then?

At present one thing is certain, Indonesia has been given the Immigration Portfolio by our PM !!!
They are doing their best by sending out as many boat loads of UNIDENTIFIED ILLEGAL CRIMINALS from all around the world as fast as they possibly can !!
The Greens & Independents are trying to run the country only in a way that satisfies their LEFT WING IDEOLOGIES , regardless of the negative effect & cost it may have on the Australian Taxpayers !!!sonja silic Monday 23 January, 2012 - 9:32 PM -
Er, "Integrity in Govt.", you may be slightly over-selling Tony. However, he is currently the only alternative and, as far as I am concerned, the by far preferable alternative. Could you or the rest of Australia stand another year or so of Gillard's treachery?

Now that the liberal trolls got their way and there are no more pokies reforms coming they're still complaining. That's the real problem with Australia. Traitor liberals happy to send jobs over seas and play games with Australias security. Not forgetting the occasionaly failed policy and sick joke from Phony Tony over dead cruise ship passengers.

@ Katrina you forgot that Australia is being Colonised for the second time! It will soon be Muslim Day! This time by Muslims, that are using the laws made by our Political Traitors, paid for by our hard earned taxes that are forced from us and don't say they aren't forced from us, just try and stop paying and see what happens!
Katrina I'm not having a go at you it's just that I am sick of seeing Muslims Colonising this country, why can't they go to Saudi Arabia, they have more money than us to help them out of their alleged predicament!

Yep she's wrecking the place all right ,lets take a look1. Unemployment 5.3%
2. Inflation 2.3%
3. GDP Growth 3.5%
4. RBA Interest Rate â?? 4.25%
5. Govt Net Debt â?? 6% GDP
6. Total Public Debt â?? 20% GDP (IMF) Vs UK/France/Germany 80%, USA 110%, Italy 120%, Japan 200% BRIC (66/11/71/33)
7. Trade Surplus $22.4 billion last financial year â?? easily the biggest surplus in raw terms for the past 40 years of records compiled by the ABS
8. Sovereign Rating â?? Australia one of just 15 countries to hold the top AAA Rating from all Agencies
9. Currency â?? AUD/USD 1.02, AUD/UK 0.67 AUD/Euro 0.80 â?? The floating of AUD is the single most important economic reform introduced by Labor. It acts as a shock absorber to external economic conditions

Tony Abbott is NOT the alternative, but is the ONLY option we would choose to rid ourselves of the detrimental untrustworthy Labor Green Party.
Tony will pleasantly surprise many and will be a highly admired, effective PM of the people.
He has credibility and integrity and he is absolute PM material and WILL make one hell of a PM.
Abbott strongly believes in governance to uphold and protect what we hold dear for the benefit of its people now and the future with a heartfelt passion.
He KNOWS how to serve.
He has been doing it all his life.
He has volunteered his time as a lifesaver, fire fighter and the numerous charities that he has cycled, run marathons and swum for.
When has the wooden Gillard ever given a minute of time for the good of others?
Most of all Tony Abbott will do what is best for Australia and its people and NOT some socialist ideological agenda and the People CAN have trust in HIS word!Integrity in Govt Monday 23 January, 2012 - 1:45 PM
