I caught a bus last week(lower north shore area) and the driver was coughing like hell. I wonder why he was allowed to drive with that condition. Now I'm coughing just like him...

Yes "toxins" that are in lower levels than in the environment, those substances are not injected directly into the muscle, to find it's way fairly quickly into the capillaries then into the blood stream.
Substances like MSG, formaldehyde, eggs, human and animal tissues (needed for the viruses and bacteria to grow or be cultured on). Is this where our allergies are coming from?
Let's address vaccine efficacy...sure it may not be 100% but even if it were 90% one would still have to look at the risks (worst case Death or mental damage from encephalitis a know side effect) and the possibility of actually getting a childhood illness, and the even smaller chance of dying from it.
Thanks but I will take my chances with the small chance my child gets what billions of humans have before him and survived!!
Vaccination is NOT compulsory in Australia and is a CHOICE. Don't be bullied, brainwashed or scared into vaccinating if the risks seem worse or as bad as the disease the are SUPPOSED protect against!!

The misunderstanding of some pretty basic science (as shown in many of the anti-vax comments here) is painful.
The assumption that because vaccination isn't 100% effective it must therefore be 100% ineffective is so prevalent (and obviously wrong) that I wonder if the posters are deliberately misunderstanding.
Likewise the perennial cry of 'toxins' (occasionally naming specific compounds that generally are found in vaccines at levels lower than those found in the environment) appears to be a deliberate (some might say disingenuous) attempt to provoke fear in uninformed readers.
However much anti-vaxers might wish to distance themselves from the consequences of their decisions, the truth is that in pretty much every recent outbreak of vaccine-preventable disease, the same word keeps coming up whenever the index cases are discussed - unvaccinated.
It *is* true that vaccines are not completely safe - *but* it is also true that the diseases they protect against are far less safe and if those of us who are pro-vaccine can be 'called' on the risks of vaccination - it seems the ultimate hypocrasy for anti-vaxers to suggest that they shouldn't be 'called on the risks of not vaccinating.

Ah, I see the antivax crowd have arrived in the comments.
Just a note to onlookers, take anything these nuts say with a large pinch of salt

Same crap propaganda that is use every year since my son had his sereve vaccine reaction along with 2 other children in our town. The other children are now label moderately and serverely autisic. These doctors ignore the parents who have had very real problems and still don't do the research and then blatanly lie to public. Wake up people they don't make money out of the healthy families. I remember this doctor at a semiar at Parliment House Sydney in 1996. He didn't know or understand what he was talking about then(there is a transcript) then plus had no proof to back what he was saying and still seems to pushing this same barrow today. Yep we placed our faith in these people??? Lies all lies

Vaccines are not 100% guaranteed. They can and do fail to provide immunity. Some actually cause the disease they were supposed to protect against, or side effects that are worse than the disease itself.
Here are some storys of vaccine damaged children take a look and see why we no longer vaccinate our familyhttp://www.vaccinetruth.org/6_out_of_10,000.htm
