Wikileaks Assange to run for Senate?

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is pushing ahead with plans to contest the Federal election, despite being holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy in London. He says plans to run for a senate seat are 'significantly advanced.'

He also claims a number of very worthy people, admired by the Australian public have expressed interest in standing for a yet-to-be registered Australian WikiLeaks party.
