  • I was prescribed Xanax, by my neurologist for anxiety associated with my Parkinson's disease. It was good for the anxiety feeling but i could see it was addictive and it did not agree with my Parkinson's Medication. The end result was that I 'withdrew' from it twice, on advice of a pyschiatrist, and believe you me it was not easy. I am still suffering with the anxiety associated with this awful disease , but i will not take Xanax again.
In order to prescribe this the Dr. must phone Canberra and have it approved.
