  • Adrian Rovere, if you truly believe in KARMA then you'd be extremely happy with last Friday night's result. Those of us with open minds and decent memories recall your beloved halfback Brett Kimmorley taking the mother of all dives last year for the Sharks against Parra to get Fui Fui penalised for a love tap and collect an undeserved win for his club. As they say, what goes around, comes around.

  • My question to you John is, "If the exact same decision went against your Dragons would you happily accept it?" It was a howling judgement call. What needs to be established is did Jamie Soward fearing he had no chance of stopping the movement elect to create an incident which could deny the Bulldogs their match-winning try? If that was the case, it a poor reflection on Soward and he and the club will be duly punished by KARMA. Of that, I am in no doubt. As a passionate Bulldog fan I was so proud of the team and of coach Kevin Moore. I am glad that we opted for him over Bennett or any other coach that was seeking the position. Bennett is a wonderful mentor but don't lose sight of the fact he only won 5 1/2 premierships in 20 years despite having amazing rosters that resembled Queensland origin squads but only stronger with the presence of one of the finest props that the game's produced - Glenn Lazarus. No club in the NRL can match the Bulldogs for heart. If your club had anywhere near the same tenacity and spirit you'd have won at least two titles between 2000-2008. Both video ref Clark and Soward have to live with their decisions. Ultimately they will regret their actions. In going forward the NRL needs to encourage the match officials to use intelligent discretion to ensure the fairest outcome is achieved.

  • You just summed up what most real rugby league fans think.

It's not about the 'hard done by' bulldogs but the fact that wrong decisions are constantly made and in this case it cost them a try which was the match winning try. Would they feel any difference if it was in the first minute, not the last minute?

  • Anybody would think the bulldogs are the only team to cope a shocking decision as there is almost 1 every week , that does change the momentum our outcome of matches .....
But HATS off to Brett (Noddy) Kimmorley & Ben Hannatt for there settling of the crowd as could have got very nasty ....
