Is it time for the Liberals to dump Malcolm Turnbull?

Steve Price looks at the fate of Malcolm Turnbull and the 'rabble' that is the Liberal party. We need good Opposition to have good government, but just why is it that the Coalition cannot pull themselves together.

  • The IPCC is a politicised body having a bias towards anthropogenic global warming (AGW) and who are associated with research institutions that have been known to disobey "freedom of information" (FOI) requests for raw data and source-codes used in computer modelling of climate change.

Science is about freedom and transparency.
This is required so that any opposing scientific view is able to test the validity of it's respective hypotheses.
This leads to new knowledge about the phenomenon being studied.

With the supposed high confidence of the AGW theory, transparency should not be a problem for this theory as scrutiny of this theory's raw data, etc. by advocates of opposing scientific views would supposedly not lead to weakening of the AGW theory.

However, as the CLIMATE-GATE scandal has revealed, the reason for denying FOI requests appears to be due to falsification and deletion of raw data. In addition this scandal has revealed instances of muddled-up raw data and the presence of sioppy and deceiving software programming practices.

The scary thing is that government-based entities have been using this tainted data/code to shape their climate-related policy.

  • Are the punters going to vote for Rudd when petrol is $2+ a litre and all living costs go up?

The punters will have to turn off their heating and cooling etc. Most admirably their carbon footprint will be smaller but the climate will not have changed one iota.

Steve you can't sit on the fence for much longer. Read the evidence from the hacking!
