I notice that the blog is full of please from tamils requesting the illegals be admitted and supported as they only want a safe place to live. Wasn't a major demand of this last batch of people the core requirement that they be taken to a country like Aus. or N.Z., where they could recieve major benefits, and not to other countries such as Indonesia.

GET THE NAVY AND CUSTOMS TO SINK THE BOATS, PEOPLE AND ALL. THEN WATCH HOW QUICKLY THEY KEEP THEIR THOUSANDS OF US DOLLARS AND STAY PUT WHERE THEY ARE.

Turn the Viking Oceania around and take them back to Sri Lanka where they can apply through proper channels. Indonesia will never help us if they don't and won't have a law against people smugglers.

They should be processed on Christmas Island along with all the others and returned home if not genuine.
When will we start to speak up for the thousands of homeless men, women and children, they have no voice
nor are they seen on the evening news or spoken about on talkback radio. Austalians without a home in their own land, let's pressure the government to right this wrong.

If Kevin Rudd allows himself to be blackmailed by a group of 78 people who are trying to enter Our Country illegally,he will lose my vote. I want a Prime Minister with backbone. We do not want citizens who do not heed our laws before they even step onto our shores & should not be allowed to get away with it. Go to India.
