CONGRATULATIONS, SYDNEY'S FAVOURITE TEACHER IS...
Maree Simpson from St Charles Primary School, Ryde. Maree will receive $10,000 and her school will receive $4,000 thanks to the Teachers Credit Union and Apprentice Power.
And a special congratulations Marisa Cullen to who has won $1,000 for nominating Maree.

The Teachers Credit Union were really inspired by all the great nominations and the sense of community that exists within the teaching profession. They found out how close the finalists really were and frankly the decision for our winner was a tough one.
With so many inspiring stories the Teachers Credit Union have advised 2UE they wish to reward a second teacher with an additional $10,000 prize! Not only that but they are also giving $4,000 to the school and $1,000 to one person who nominated our second teacher.
Congratulations to Kylie Fabri from Miller Technology School who will receive $10,000 and her school will receive $4,000.
$1,000 is also going to Rachel Lindsay who is one of the people who nominated Kylie.
