The Pit Canopy experience is the closest you can get to the action without being in a car! Most Motor sport teams have pit canopies where they can be up close to the track action, reviewing technical elements of the track & car from the screens within the canopy. The AGPC for the first time at the FORMULA 1 QANTAS AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX will have a purpose built canopy that seats 4 people on the exit to the pits.

Support categories in 2010 will include, the V8 Supercars GP Challenge, Australian GT Championship, MINI Challenge series, Australian Formula Ford Championship, Formula 5000, Shannons Historic Demonstration and the Ultimate Speed Comparison.
OFF TRACK ACTION
New off-track features this year include the Shannons Historic Paddock - Little Italy. Where Italian pride is on show with the celebration of Alfa Romeo’s 100th anniversary. A stroll through Little Italy, allows patrons to enjoy Italian food, beautiful Lavazza coffee and see a stunning display of Italian cars, bicycles, motorbikes and Vespas.
AFTER DARK ACTION
One of Australia’s greatest rock bands Powderfinger will perform the night before the big race. This year there will be not one, but two massive concerts at Albert Park on the Saturday and the Sunday evenings starting immediately after the racing action finishes. Following the Formula One race on Sunday night, legendary Scottish rock band Simple Minds will play a one-off concert in Australia.
The music action will continue at Sidetracked - the Grand Prix’s trackside music festival with some of Australia’s hottest bands and DJs.
